this year we're streamlining the challenge!
Expanding on the success of this BOMA Toronto initiative, and in collaboration with program advisor partners Energy@Work and QMC, we are opening up this year’s challenge to focus on building and tenant performance and collective conservation efforts over the entire Earth Hour weekend: March 27, 6pm - March 30, 6am, 2020.
In the spirit of Earth Hour and energy conservation, participants will still compete for award recognition as a Top Reducer in the Building and Tenant categories, with the onus on landlords and tenants to find operational and behavioural changes that affect energy use over the entire weekend as opposed to just the one hour.
Through collaborative efforts, our hope is that tenants and landlords will collectively realize energy-saving strategies that in turn drive down operational costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
Join us on Tuesday February 18th, 2020 at 9:30 AM for a detailed webinar on how to participate in this year’s weekend challenge. You can register for the webinar at: www.bomatoronto.org/events.
